Transportation Manager
We are looking for a Transportation Manager in Üllő to lead and optimize outbound transportation operations from our Regional Distribution Center. If you are passionate about logistics, data-driven decision-making, and team leadership, we’d love to hear from you!
Location: Üllő – Modern, automated distribution center
Your key responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and reliable delivery of goods to customers and facilities
- Monitor shipment volumes and vehicle utilization to improve efficiency
- Optimize routes, transport modes, and vehicle types for cost and performance
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to streamline outbound processes
- Manage the flow of returnable packaging and support sustainability goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics partners
- Handle ad-hoc transportation needs with agility and minimal disruption
- Lead a team of 4 transport coordinators and dispatchers.
What you bring:
- 5–10 years of experience in transportation or logistics management, ideally in a distribution center environment
- Strong knowledge of transportation planning, route optimization, and carrier management.
Fluent in English and Hungarian - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven experience in vendor negotiation and team leadership
