We are looking for a Microsoft Systems Engineer to strengthen our in-house expertise across the full lifecycle of Microsoft products and services within our Central European operations. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the stability, security, and efficiency of our regional IT landscape, working closely with both business and IT stakeholders.

Locations: Hungary (Üllő, Dunakeszi), Austria (Vienna), or fully remote

Remote work: according to company policy or fully remote setup

Travel: occasional travel within Central Europe

Your key responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Microsoft products and services, from design and implementation through operations, upgrades, and decommissioning across the CE region
  • Contribute to business and IT projects in a regional context
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to design and maintain hybrid environments
  • Define, promote, and apply Microsoft-related technical best practices
  • Balance your time between project work (30–40%) and operational responsibilities (60–70%)

Additional Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement system and process improvement opportunities
  • Support security, audit, and compliance activities in line with corporate standards
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation
  • Set an example within the IT team by consistently applying Microsoft technology best practices

What We Are Looking For

  • University degree, an IT-related background is an advantage
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian, German is a plus
  • Solid hands-on experience with Windows desktop and Windows Server environments
  • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, Entra ID
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Teams and SharePoint
  • Azure infrastructure knowledge at a foundational level
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus
  • Experience working in project-based environments
